Newport Landing will provide all white table linens and blue linen napkins, tables and chairs, set up and breakdown, service staff and room rental at no additional fees.
Payment Procedures
A non-refundable Initial Payment of $250 is required to secure a private banquet room, which will be applied at the time of the event. Payment can be made with cash, check, credit card or credit card fax authorization. All remaining payments are due at the close of event.
This deposit will not be refunded if the event is canceled
Banquet Facilities
Newport Landing has 3-4 different and unique banquet rooms depending on the guest needs. The America’s Cup is a small private room for up to 18 guests on the second floor with a small balcony on the side. The first floor Library room or the outside Lanai patio both fit about 40-50 guests each or the Main Dining Room for events up to 75 guests.
Minimum Food Sales
Each banquet room has a required food sales minimum that must be reached. Food selections must be made 10 days prior to the event and prices are subject to change prior to 10 days.
Guaranteed Guests
A guaranteed guest count must be received 10 days prior to the event.
Alcohol
No alcoholic beverages, included bottled wine, may be brought onto the premises. We have full bar service available, either hosted or non-hosted. We have the right to refuse service to anyone and will discontinue the event when guests are intoxicated or minors are served.
Gratuity and Sales Tax
Gratuity is determined by the host at the close of the event and is paid directly to your service staff. Sales tax is currently 7.75% of all food, bar, and all other event sales.
General Information
Room Rentals will not be applied unless food minimums are not met. Service staff will be provided at no additional charge and will be based on the guaranteed guest count. Each banquet room is available for 3 hours from either 12:00-3:00 or 6:00-9:00. Decorations may not attach, stick, nail, or deface the facility in any way, and may be set up 1 hour prior and removed 1 hour after the event times. No live or recorded entertainment, or open flame are allowed (except for cakes). WiFi is now available at no charge, and audio visual equipment can be rented if prearranged. Parking is usually available at the public lots within a couple blocks at a maximum of $8.00, the metered parking is free after 6:00pm, or there is parking structure with limited vehicle requirements and hours at a cost of $12.00 for 3 hours.
